I’ve been debating the idea of teaching private lessons again for years now. I’ve gone through phases with my drumming career path, and where I’ve found the biggest inspiration on my journey is teaching a new generation the love and the art of drumming. Not just hitting things to hit them, but rather to learn the how and why of the instrument. The fine tuning of your hands and ears. The subtle differences in stroke and energy. The magic of musicality and listening.

The best part about drums, and music in general, is that you are never too old to start. Music can be learned and enjoyed at any age.

And that’s why I want to do this again. I don’t want to hoard the love and experience of the past nearly 30 years of my life. I want to share what I’ve found in music.
